Memory, vCPU, and instances are per app. Maker and Pro apps can also scale automatically on CPU via [resources.autoscale] in percher.toml, up to the plan's instance ceiling.
Each deployed project is one app, identified by its name.percher.runsubdomain. Apps count toward your plan's limit whether they're actively serving traffic or sleeping. Deleting an app frees the slot immediately. Preview deploys share their parent app's slot — they don't count as separate apps.
Free includes two apps that sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity and cold-start on the next request. When you need apps that stay always-on, more memory, custom domains, or a higher app count, upgrade — your existing apps keep running and pick up the new limits on their next deploy. Nothing is deleted and no data is lost when you move between plans.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from Settings → Plan at any time. Billing is handled by Polar; plan changes take effect immediately and your running apps are never interrupted.
No. The Free plan needs no payment details — sign up and deploy your first app right away. You only add a card when you choose to upgrade.
Card payments, processed by Polar (our merchant of record). Polar handles invoicing, VAT, and the customer portal where you can update your card or download receipts.
Deploys return a quota error until the counter resets at 00:00 UTC. Live and preview deploys have separate counters, so a burst of preview builds never eats your live budget. Upgrading raises both caps.
Yes. Cancel from the Polar customer portal linked in Settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period, then your account returns to the Free plan — your apps keep their data and simply pick up Free-tier limits.
No — Free is free for as long as you want it. Free apps sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity and wake on the next request; there is no trial clock and no automatic charge.
